We carry out a number of tests for the mechanical characterization of materials: not only the “traditional” tests (tension, resilience, hardness, bending, etc.) but also the most uncommon ones.

Chemical Analyses

Quantometric chemical analyses (OES) of iron, nickel, copper, aluminium and titanium-base alloys
PMI (Positive Material Identification) of iron, nickel, copper and aluminium-base alloys
Hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen analyses after melting in an inert gas current

Resistance to Corrosion

We SPECIALIZE in pitting and in intergranular/intercrystalline corrosion resistance (all tests are ACCREDIA accredited)

Metallography

The technicians’ COMPETENCE and COMMON SENSE are fundamental in Metallography. Our STRENGTHS are: our constant attention to staff TRAINING and our wide EXPERIENCE supported by the tests successfully carried out together with INTER-LABORATORY CIRCUITS.

Welding and Brazing

Qualification for welding procedures, welders, brazers and welding operators

UNI EN 1090

We are able to carry out the tests needed to obtain the CERTIFICATION UNI EN 1090-2:2018 for HEAT CUTTING, DRILLING, WELDING, etc.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT)

Nondestructive Testing (NDT) is needed to verify the quality of the product, being it forged, melted, welded, laminated, drawn or extruded, without destroying it or altering its dimensions and/or features

Failure Analyses

A 30-year long working experience in many sectors and the knowledge of metallurgical processes enable us to understand the causes leading to failures and corrosions of components

Heat Treatments

For pieces up to 100kg and 600x400x300mm overall dimensions we provide heat treatment up to 1,200°C with complex cycles programming regulated by contact thermocouples.

Consulting

The Laboratory’s staff is available for: TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE in case of disputes, FEASIBILITY studies, EQUIPMENT DESIGN and MANUFACTURING, as well as staff TRAINING

Our large mechanics workshop, equipped with CNC machines operated by HIGHLY SKILLED TECHNICIANS, together with an EFFICIENT PLANNING allow us to CUT DELIVERY TIMES and to MANAGE your NEEDS with great FLEXIBILITY
